30 min late night digie :)

Practicing some lighting on a profile portrait. Profiles are hard to do man. They always look like dolls. >< I timed myself for about 30 minutes for this one. I'm slowly understanding the way I work with layers; Simplicity. However, I'm not too proud of this sketch this time.

Speaking of Aliens..

Since I've been working with Aliens recently, here's a quick digital paint I did a few weeks ago. I tried to give it a very soft look, but I definitely need to work on that style.

For my neon city in space, I'm going to try to stick in some billboards with glamour advertisements just like the big cities, like New York. Here's a quick digital paint of my alien humanoid that will be one of my billboards :) About an hour and a half to complete.

Particle System Inspirations

For our next programming assignment, we have to make a particle system to put in our level. To fit with my space/casino theme, I want a star explosion. Lots of colors yay :D The Player will see this in the distance as they race through the track in my level. More explosions should happen with each lap.


The second particle I want to do is falling sparks for inside my casino. They'll be falling from the ceiling and onto the players as they drive through.

Destruction Reworked!


Finally got my destruction working the way I wanted it too. I'll soon make my own particle set to go along with my sci-fi neon pillars. Enjoy the video example :)
